Frotox

Our Frotox Process

We combine cryo and red light therapy to create a powerful synergy for skin rejuvenation. The extreme cold tightens pores, depuffs, and reduces inflammation, while RLT penetrates cells to stimulate collagen, boost circulation, and accelerate results.

First, we wash and exfoliate your face and RESET your skin with cryotherapy, which exposes the skin to freezing or near-freezing temperatures. This causes blood vessels to constrict, rapidly flushing out toxins and reducing immediate puffiness or swelling.

Next, we REPAIR with Near Infrared Light Therapy which stimulates fibroblasts to differentiate into myofibroblasts. These cells synthesise and secrete Type1 and Type 3 collagen, as well as other extracellular matrix components. Near infra red, decreases the synthesis of MMPs, which slows the rate of fibroblast proliferation

The Combined Benefits

  1. Maximized Anti-Aging: Reduces wrinkles and fine lines while improving overall skin elasticity and tone.
  2. Reduced Puffiness: Excellent for treating swollen areas, especially under the eyes.
  3. Enhanced Glow: Improves oxygen-rich blood flow for a radiant complexion without downtime.

Why Is Frotox The New Botox?

Botox (injected purified botulism toxin) may be effective at reducing fine lines and wrinkles, but it’s not actually promoting youthful skin.

Results are delayed and the effects only last up to 4 months.

Think of Botox as a band aid. It’s a quick-fix for younger looking skin, but

Botox will not prevent new wrinkles.

Frotox (Targeted Facial Cryotherapy) requires no needles or injections.

This process causes vaso restriction, where the blood vessels to the skin shrink, allowing a reduction in redness, inflammation and puffiness, and increased collagen production.

Frotox benefits Include:

  1. Decreases wrinkles and fine lines
  2. Stimulates production of collagen
  3. Stimulates blood flow
  4. Refines pores and tightens skin
  5. Soothes skin conditions including eczema
  6. Brightens skin tone & Improves Radiance
  7. Lessens effects of psoriasis and dermatitis
  8. Reduces uneven skin and pigmentation
  9. Lightens acne scars

So, not only does it reduce and refine lines, wrinkles and other "imperfections", FROTOX PREVENTS NEW WRINKLES AND BUILDS NEW MATURE COLLAGEN.

FAQ

How long until I see results?

Most clients will notice immediate results after their first treatment.

Does It Hurt?

No. Most clients describe it as feeling like a cold massage. There's no suction, no needles, and no discomfort. The cold sensation can be intense, but it is not typically painful. Most treatments last only a few minutes, making discomfort minimal.

What's The Aftercare?

Only use gentle facial cleanser between visits.

Who Should Avoid Cryotherapy?
  1. Cold Sensitivities & Vascular Disorders: Conditions like Raynaud's, cold urticaria, cryoglobulinemia, or peripheral arterial disease. Extreme cold can cause dangerous vasoconstriction or unwanted tissue necrosis in these individuals.
  2. Active Skin Conditions: Unhealed open wounds, sores, rashes, or bacterial/viral skin infections at the targeted treatment site.
  3. Uncontrolled Medical Issues: Severe, unmanaged hypertension (blood pressure over 160/100 mm Hg), unstable angina, or uncontrolled heart conditions.
  4. Blood Clotting & Bleeding Issues: Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or severe bleeding disorders.

For some conditions, the treatment might be an option but requires a doctor's clearance and professional monitoring:

  1. Pregnancy: Generally advised against whole-body or localized cryotherapy due to lack of safety data.
  2. Neurological Conditions: Individuals with nerve damage, neuropathy, or complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).
  3. Diabetes: Needs careful management as underlying neuropathy or vascular complications can hide skin damage or lead to poor healing.

Always consult with a healthcare provider or your specialized dermatologist before undergoing targeted cryotherapy to ensure it is a safe option for your specific medical history.
